Mychel “Snoop” Dillard is a Detroit-born entrepreneur, hospitality impresario, mentor, media personality, and reality TV figure based in Atlanta, Georgia. Celebrated for building a multi-faceted business empire, she has made her mark through restaurants, lounges, and salon suites—often in collaboration with rapper 2 Chainz—while championing Black-owned business success and mentorship.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Mychel Dillard faced early challenges, becoming a mother as a teenager. Undeterred, she pursued her education with determination, graduating from Vanderbilt University with a degree in economics around the age of 20. She began her professional career as a financial advisor, but after the 2009 recession, she pivoted fully into entrepreneurship. Openly identifying as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Dillard has shared her life experiences to inspire others navigating personal and professional challenges.
As CEO of Dillard Hospitality Group (DHG), Snoop co-owns multiple Atlanta-based hospitality concepts, including:
- Escobar Restaurant & Tapas Lounge (with 2 Chainz) — a dynamic space offering brunch, dinner, and nightlife experiences that seamlessly transition into a lounge environment.
- Esco Seafood — a seafood-centric restaurant concept.
- Crave Restaurant — a restaurant and lounge blending upscale dining with social experiences.
- Members Only — an exclusive, membership-based VIP lounge.
The Escobar brand has since expanded to multiple locations beyond Georgia, including Ohio, Tennessee, and Dallas, Texas.
Dillard is also the founder of Remedy Spa & Salon Suites, a franchised salon suite brand providing independent spaces for beauty professionals. Through this venture, she offers mentorship and community support for salon suite owners and beauty entrepreneurs via initiatives such as Start My Salon Suites.
Through DHG University, Snoop provides business and credit education for entrepreneurs. She also leads the Road 2 Millions Challenge / Masterclass, a 5-day business-building and mentorship series launched in January 2026, designed to empower aspiring business owners and elevate entrepreneurial success in underserved communities.
Snoop is the creator and star of “Snooping for Love”, a reality dating series that follows her journey in search of love while balancing her personal and professional life.
In late 2025, she embarked on a multi-city promotional tour for “Snooping for Love,” which included book signings and public appearances, connecting with fans and promoting her show nationwide.
